Having a good weapon at your disposal is imperative to any success you are going to have in Apex Legends. Assault Rifles are, arguably, one of the best weapon sets in the game. The assault rifles use a variety of ammunition. The R-301 uses light ammo and the HAVOC uses energy ammo. This means that you can pick up two assault rifles and find enough ammo to sustain each one.

The Hemlok Burst AR uses heavy ammo and is the only assault rifle to use burst shots. This means that even if you hold down the trigger button, it will only fire four or five shots in one go. This may sound like a problem in the heat of a fire-fight, but it can be extremely powerful in ranged combat.

On this page, we're going to show you the damage stats, attachments, and skins for the Hemlok Burst AR. All of this information should help you decide if this weapon is for you.

Review

This weapon seems to be gaining popularity, though it was majorly underrated at first. The Hemlok dishes out significant damage with each burst of bullets and it can be swapped to single-fire too. Once you get used to it, it can be a lethal sidekick in both Arenas and the main Battle Royale. It’s easy to go through plenty of ammo though, so an extended heavy mag is a must if you want to survive. If you engage over medium or long-range, you’ll be able to pop heads with relative ease, particularly with a Variable AOG scope attachment. Overall, it is a great weapon once you get used to it.

The Hemlock Burst AR is a great assault rifle in Apex Legends, but it is one that you need to learn how to use properly. Another weapon that is powerful but tricky to master is the Sentinel Rifle. If you completely kit the sniper rifle out with the highest quality attachments, your enemies will be easy targets. Having a game that loads slowly then lags is a painful part of playing online. Take a look at our guide to find out how to get faster loading times and say goodbye to lag!
