With Season 19: Ignite just around the corner, Apex Legends has officially revealed the abilities of its new legend, Conduit. In the Ignite launch trailer, we get our first look at some of the utility that Conduit will bring to the battlegrounds.

Previously, we've speculated on what Conduit's abilities would be when she first debuted in a Stories from the Outlands lore video. While the lore video didn't detail anything beyond Conduit's backstory, past leaks have already indicated what her loadout would include.

In the Ignite launch trailer, we see Conduit use the two drones on her back to regenerate her teammates' shields. This correlates with her leaked tactical ability, Arc Flash. According to leaks, this ability will actually deal damage to Conduit's own shields when used. However, using the ability apparently grants your allies an overshield, improving their chance of survival in a skirmish.

Additionally, in the Ignite launch trailer, Conduit appears to be able to use her drones to fire balls of electricity at her opponents. This likely depicts Conduit's ultimate, Short Circuit, which has been detailed in previous leaks. It's been rumoured that Conduit's Short Circuit will see her channel her shields into arc balls that drain her opponent's shields.

Not demonstrated in the Ignite reveal trailer, is Conduit's alleged passive Capacitance. This passive sees Conduit's health converted from 100 health to 50 health plus 50 shield. If Conduit releases with this feature, she'll be able to automatically regenerate health over time, similar to Wattson.

There's still not been any explicit confirmation on what class Conduit will be when she releases, although leaks have suggested that she will be a Support legend, and the Ignite launch trailer further seems to confirm this. During the launch trailer, we see Conduit running around with a fully equipped Triple Take. The description of the video on YouTube also makes reference to the sniper rifle she carries, arguably solidifying her nature as a Support legend.

Apex Legends Season 19: Ignite will launch on October 31, 2023. You can watch the Apex Legends Ignite launch trailer for yourself down below.
