A good assault rifle is a key component of any shooters load-out.
There are four to choose from within the Apex Legends Universe, with the HAVOC Rifle the only of the four to utilise energy ammo as the primary source of ammunition.
On this page we're going to tell you everything that you need to know about the HAVOC Rifle. Is it the gun that you should be selecting as your go-to on the assault rifle front? Or would you be better spent opting for a more traditional AR in the form of the VK-47 Flatline or the Hemlock Burst AR?

HAVOC Damage Stats
How much damage does a HAVOC do in Apex? That's what you really need to know. Just below you'll find the damage stats for the HAVOC Rifle. Do note these are just the basic damage stats and do not reflect stats for Fortified Legends (Caustic, Gibraltar) where damage stats are typically reduced by 15%.
|Target||Damage||Shots To Kill: 100HP||150HP||175HP||200HP||225HP|

|Level 3/4 Helmet||25||4||6||7||8||9|
The HAVOC can accept stock attachments as well as Holo, HCOG, Variable Holo and Variable AOG sights, but we’d recommend pairing the latter with the Selectfire Receiver hop-up.
This mod removes the need for a charge before firing, as well as turning the HAVOC into single-shot mode. This over doubles the base damage of each shot but does mean every shot costs 4 ammo.
- 1x Holo (Common)
- 1x HCOG Classic (Common)
- 2x HCOG Bruiser (Rare)
- 1x-2x Variable Holo (Rare)
- 3x HCOG Ranger (Epic)
- 2x-4x Variable (Epic)
- Turbocharger Hop-Up (Legendary)
- Extended Energy Mag
- Standard Stock
At the time of writing, there is a total of 66 weapon skins for the HAVOC in Apex Legends. This includes 14 Legendary, 10 Epic, 26 Rare and 16 Common skins.
The skins range in price, from 30 CM (Common) to 1,200 CM (Legendary)
HAVOC Review - Is It Good?
The HAVOC can be a great automatic weapon, but its charge time makes it feel a little unwieldy at times – especially in reactive firefights where players aren’t shooting first.
Add the aforementioned Selectfire Receiver hop-up though, and it becomes a lethal single-shot rifle that can kill a heavily armoured opponent in just four body shots.
