Apex Legends Season 4 is here, and the game now has more guns to choose from than ever.
While the Sentinel may be the latest post-launch weapon to be added, the HAVOC was added in Season One and remains versatile.
The HAVOC
In fact, while this energy weapon primarily fires as an assault rifle, it’s capable of single-fire shots that deal much higher damage with the right attachments.
Here's our guide to using the HAVOC.
Where to Find The HAVOC
If you’re after the HAVOC, look no further than mid-to-high tier loot areas. Just be prepared for a fight, and if you're using the HAVOC initially, remember it needs to charge.

What Attachments And Ammo Does It Take?
The HAVOC can accept stock attachments as well as Holo, HCOG, Variable Holo and Variable AOG sights, but we’d recommend pairing the latter with the Selectfire Receiver hop-up.
This mod removes the need for a charge before firing, as well as turning the HAVOC into single-shot mode. This over doubles the base damage of each shot but does mean every shot costs 4 ammo.

HAVOC Tips And Tricks
The HAVOC can be a great automatic weapon, but its charge time makes it feel a little unwieldy at times – especially in reactive firefights where players aren’t shooting first.
Add the aforementioned Selectfire Receiver hop-up though, and it becomes a lethal single-shot rifle that can kill a heavily armoured opponent in just four body shots.
