Valheim: How to Set Respawn Point

How To Set Respawn Point

Valheim's world is huge and so you'll want a few bases dotted around the map. When it comes to setting your respawn point, it doesn't require much. You'll need a bed. Although there are conditions necessary to place down a bed. Beds require a roof above them, and to place a roof you'll need something to hold it up. This could be walls or maybe wooden pillars. Once you have some form of structure with roofing, you'll need a campfire near your bed too.

You can build as many beds as you like and they come in handy if you head out to an area far away from your base. Say for instance you decide to go to an island, set up a tiny outpost with the bed to set your respawn point. This way if you die, you won't have to build another raft to get to the island again. So setting up a respawn point is as simple as placing down a bed and pressing E to set it.
