Psychonauts 2: How to Replay Levels

In Psychonauts 2 you will travel through a variety of psychedelic levels, some of which contain collectibles that can only be reached via a second playthrough. It's good then, that you can actually replay levels once you've beaten them, allowing you to head back and clear up any missing items. Here's how to unlock the Collective Consciousness area to replay levels.

Psychonauts 2: How to Replay Levels

In order to replay levels in Psychonauts 2 you will need to unlock the Collective Consciousness area. It can be accessed after returning home from the casino heist mission at Lady Lucktopus. Just head to the Nerve Centre to trigger a cutscene involving Sasha. They will place you into the Collective Consciousness, allowing you to step through doors into previous levels.

How to Access the Collective Consciousness and Replay Stages

After you've unlocked the Collective Consciousness you can return there by heading to Sasha's lab. You can interact with the purple machine in the corner to replay levels. Just head to the door you wish to go through, and step into it.

How to Exit the Collective Consciousness

When entering the Collective Consciousness for the first time, Sasha will give you some smelling salts. You can use these to leave the area, or any level that you are replaying to get get collectibles like the Hatbox in Loboto's Labyrinth. Just head into the pause menu and select 'Exit Brain'. This will take you back to Psychonauts HQ.
