Senior Producer at Double Fine studios, Kevin Johnson said on Twitter that the team did not have any crunch time and the game was created in line with its schedule.

While it's good to see a video game announce a smooth development with no crunch time needed, the game was delayed multiple times, which clearly the team needed to make sure the final product is as polished as it can be.
