PS Plus June 2021 Countdown: All Games Confirmed For PS4 and PS5

Operation: Tango | PS5 version only*

Team up to save the world in this cooperative spy adventure, challenging you and a friend to join up online** to complete dangerous missions across the globe in a high-tech near-future world. Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown | PS4

Sega’s iconic one-on-one battler gets a feature-rich remaster, overseen by Yakuza and Judgment developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. Debuting on PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now, both Virtua Fighter veterans and newcomers will be able to test all-new online modes such as ranked matches, tournaments and leagues, while enjoying overhauled visuals and redesigned UI. There’s no better way to enjoy this groundbreaking fighting series.

The game will not only be available on PlayStation Plus for about two months – June and July – but it’ll also be releasing on PlayStation Now in June! PlayStation Plus members can enter Virtua Fighter 5’s arenas starting Tuesday, June 1.

Star Wars: Squadrons

June is almost here, and that means Summer is approaching – as are fresh PlayStation Plus games and PlayStation fans will no doubt be looking to the end of the month for the PlayStation Plus June games.

And so they should, with the likes of Oddworld: Soulstorm, Bugsnax, and Destruction All-Stars all dropping into the service in recent months. In fact, since the start of this console generation, Sony has been killing it with both PS4 and PS5 games.

All of those freebies (and online play) have helped PS Plus subscribers hit over 47 million worldwide.

That's not all, though, as it appears Sony could be about to add a new 'Video Pass' to the service, if a leaked logo is to be believed.

When Will PS Plus June 2021 Games Be Announced?

Traditionally PS Plus games have always been announced on the last Wednesday of the month at 4.30 pm on the dot.

The announced titles then become available to download from the PSN store on the first Tuesday of the month.

Some months this means the games arrive a bit earlier. But some months, it means there's a slightly longer wait than normal, such as this month.

Due to the way the days have fallen in the month, Sony will announce the PS Plus June 2021 free games lineup on Wednesday, May 26.

When Will PS Plus June 2021 Come Out?

Again, the date new PS Plus games become available is like clockwork, with the new games available to download from the PSN store on the first Tuesday of the month.

Looking ahead, the PS Plus March 2021 free games will be available to download on the PlayStation store on Tuesday 1 June 2021.

PS Plus June 2021 Leaks and Predictions

A new leak from Arejugones, a site that has correctly predicted PS Plus lineups in the past, has suggested that Virtua Fighter 5 will arrive as part of June's lineup - alongside Star Wars: Squadrons and Operation: Tango.

With Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart arriving in June, we'd have suggested the 2016 title could be in line to appear – but it has already been available as part of PS Plus.

With Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts 2 arriving, could we get the first game to get people excited?

Many have speculated that NBA 2K21 could be added, especially since the basketball sim arrived free on Epic last week.
