Pokémon Legends: Arceus 1.02 Patch Notes: Cherrim Catching Fix, Progression Issues Solved, and More

Pokemon Legends: Arceus has been a best-seller since launching last month, though Game Freak's work isn't done yet. In a series of small post-launch patches, we've just received Update 1.02, which fixes several known issues players were facing.

Many fans will be happy to know that Update 1.02 makes the notoriously difficult Cherrim easier to catch in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. That comes alongside fixes for a screen freezing issues, and a duplication error.

Here's the full patch notes of Pokemon Legends: Arceus Update 1.02, courtesy of Nintendo:

  • Fixed an issue where, while offline, the screen could freeze after trying to pick up a lost satchel by throwing out a ball that contains a Pokémon.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes made it difficult to catch Cherrim.
  • Fixed an issue where a certain event would not occur during a particular Mission, preventing the scenario from proceeding as intended.
  • Fixed an issue where players could obtain certain Pokémon twice instead of once only as intended, prohibiting the player from obtaining other certain Pokémon. The relevant Pokémon will appear for players who were unable to catch those certain Pokémon due to this issue.
