Squad Busters, the Latest Clash of Clans Game, Has a Release Date

Clash of Clans developer Supercell has revealed the release date for its new mobile game Squad Busters on Android and iOS.

Currently available to play in certain regions, Squad Busters is a new competitive multiplayer action game that plays like a basic MOBA.

In a recent announcement trailer, Supercell confirmed the Squad Busters release date as May 29, 2024. The game will launch worldwide across Android and iOS devices.

Squad Busters brings in myriad characters from across Supercell’s history. You’ll be able to summon anything from a basic chicken to a Clash of Clans Barbarian to turn your opponents into a fine paste in the midst of battle.

Supercell is putting a lot of effort into the launch of Squad Busters. While it may not see the same level of success as Clash of Clans or Clash Royale, the new mobile game does seem to be another unique portable venture for the games studio.

Squad Busters is the first big launch for Supercell since the release of Brawl Stars in 2018. Since then, the studio has released Rush Wars, Hay Day Pop, Clash Quest, Clash Mini, Everdale and others, but they’ve all since been discontinued.

Curiously, there’s no news on what happened to Clash Heroes, an open-world mobile game where you’d explore as other heroes from the Supercell library. Unfortunately, the title has been missing since 2021 despite looking like one of the more interesting Supercell games.

Squad Busters is already available to pre-register for on iOS and Android, allowing the game to automatically install when it releases on May 29, 2024.
