GO Battle Nights were absent from Pokemon GO in some of the previous Battle League seasons. However, the GO Battle Nights will make a return in the upcoming Season 8 of the Pokemon GO Battle League.
There will be three separate dates for the Pokemon GO Battle Nights, and they will take place about once per month for the next three months. Those times and dates have already been outlined on the Pokemon GO Blog.
- Thursday, June 23, 2021 - 6 pm local time to 11:59 local time
- Sunday, July 11, 2021 - 6 pm local time to 11:59 local time
- Thursday, August 26, 2021 - 6 pm local time to 11:59 local time
What bonuses are in the Pokemon GO Battle Night events?
Rather than an event that brings in new Pokemon or research tasks, the GO Battle Nights are all about playing as much of the Battle League as possible. On a standard day, players only have access to 5 sets of battles in a 24 hour period. That amounts to 25 battles per day as a maximum.
During the GO Battle Nights, players will be able to complete 20 entire sets of battles, which amounts to 100 Pokemon GO Battle League matches overall. It's a great opportunity to rank up in the league and earn as many rewards as possible, such as encounters.
Stardust that is earned during the GO Battle Night will also be increased by 3x, so any players who need to save up on dust shouldn't miss out.
