Does No Man's Sky Have Crossplay?
Yes, No Man's Sky now has crossplay as of June 2020. Plyers on PlayStation, Xbox and PC can all play together, either from the multiplayer menu in-game, or by adding friend codes when starting from the main menu. Let's go into a bit more detail on setting up crossplay.
How to Play With Friends Using Crossplay
You have two options when wanting to play with friends using crossplay. The first is if you are at the main menu, before loading up a save. Do the following to create a multiplayer session:
- Select 'Multiplayer'
- Use Friend Codes to add players (these can be found in the under the 'show friend code tab)
- Create session
If you're already in a game, then just press pause, and do the following:
- Head to the 'Options' menu
- Select 'Network'
- Make sure Multiplayer is enabled
- Use your friend code to be added into someone's game, or to bring them into yours.
