No Man's Sky - Where to get Radon

Radon No Mans Sky

Radon No Mans Sky

Radon is useful resource to collect in No Man's Sky. It can be used to make Stasis Devices and Enriched Carbon, but is generally a pretty rare resource to come across. To help make sure you know where to look, we've detailed where to find Radon in this guide. We'll look at getting Radon using Atmosphere Harvesters, Gas Extractors, and from certain plants. Let's get harvesting.

Where to get Radon in No Man's Sky

There are three main ways to get radon in No Man's Sky. We've listed them below and will go into more detail on each later on in this guide.

  • By-Product when mining certain flora
  • Condensed Gas Clouds
  • Atmosphere Harvesting

Radon Plants

Certain plants will contain Radon as a secondary element. You can hit these with your mining beam to get radon. These are found on Frozen and Irradiated planets.

Condensed Gas Clouds

If you add a hotspot detector to your analysis visor, you can look for concentrated gas clouds of Radon. You'll need to craft and place a Gas Extractor at a hotspot to harvest the Radon. These are generally found on Frozen and Irradiated planets.

Atmosphere Harvesting

Placing Atmosphere Harvesters on frozen and irradiated planets will net you Radon. This can be a slow process, but if you have a base in the area, you might want to consider placing multiple harvesters down and forming a mining operation.

  • Enriched Carbon: Combine Radon with Carbon and Chlorine/Salt
  • Frost Crystals: Combine Radon with Dioxite
  • Uranium: Combine Radon With Di-hydrogen or Ferrite Dust
