Modern Warfare's File Size Makes It Too Big For A 250GB SSD

Modern Warfare Season 6 is here, but the game is now so big it won’t fit on a 250GB SSD.

Last year, gamers were shocked to learn the requirements for the game included 175GB of free space. In August, another update dropped which pushed it over 200GB.

Now, thanks to the latest Warzone update, you’ll need 250 GB free. Luckily, we've found a great deal on a slimline SSD that you can plug and play here.

If you're on a base PS4 or Xbox One, that means the game will currently occupy half of your internal drive!

Modern Warfare's File Size is Now Over 250GB

So, why is it so big?

Well, the game now includes the full single-player, Spec Ops, multiplayer AND the entirety of Warzone. Console players can uninstall certain parts of the game - which is handy, but those on PC playing through Battle.net don’t have that option.

Instead, PC gamers will either be forced to buy a new SSD or start deleting a load of games to free up space. Sorry, Geralt, I’m looking at you, old friend.
