There are four modes that you can choose to play in Jurassic World Evolution 2. Each mode has its own unique traits and which one that you choose to play will depend on how you want your experience of the game to be. We're going to answer a question that may help you decide what to play first - what is sandbox mode?
What Is Sandbox Mode?
Sandbox mode is a type of free-play mode where you have unlimited funds to build, manage and run your own park. You will not have any tasks or goals that you need to hit and worry about. Your park rating will not be as big of an issue because you will have unlimited money. This means that the costs of running the park and trying to make a profit are things you will not need to worry about. Dinosaurs escaping and making short meals of your guests will not be as big of a problem as it is in other modes. Essentially, you will be able to build your dream park without any of the responsibilities that you need to think about in the other modes.
If you are enjoying the game, regardless of the mode you are playing, you should take a look at the rest of our guides in our walkthrough hub.
Is It Worth Playing Sandbox First?
No. Sandbox should ideally be the last mode that you play if you want to get the most out of it. This is because you will not instantly have access to all of the dinosaurs, attractions or buildings within this mode from the start of your game. You will need to have hit certain levels or achievements in each of the other modes to unlock all of the items included in the sandbox mode. If you haven't touched any of the other modes then your options within the sandbox will be extremely limited.
