There are four modes that you can play in Jurassic World Evolution 2. Each one of them has a slightly different premise but all of them revolve around one main thing - dinosaurs. If you are unsure which mode you should play, we're here to answer an important question - what is campaign mode?
What Is Campaign Mode?
Campaign mode is a story mode that you can play in the game. Throughout campaign mode, you will learn the basics of how to build appropriate enclosures and how to make sure that you are caring for the dinosaurs to the best of your ability.
During campaign mode, you will be working with the Department of Fish and Wildlife to help contain certain troublesome species of dinosaurs that cannot be trusted to be left in the wild. Owen and Claire (familiar faces from the Jurassic World Films) will be the main voices that help you through this mode and they will teach you almost everything you need to know about dinosaur welfare. You will also get a taster of the things that you need to think about if you wanted to run your own Jurassic Park theme parks in Challenge Mode.
Campaign mode is split into 5 main mission sections that take you to extremely different environments. From Arizona to the border of Canada, you will search for dangerous dinosaurs and care for ones who have major injuries such as broken limbs.
You will not get many types of dinosaurs while playing campaign mode.
Is It Worth Playing Campaign Mode First?
If you're new to the franchise then yes, it's worth playing campaign mode first as it teaches you the basics that you need to know. However, if you have already played Jurassic World Evolution then you can easily play any of the modes in any order that you like.
