Warzone 2 Season Two early patch notes
At the time of writing, there are no official patch notes for the Season Two update but with Infinity Ward teasing a wealth of changes to a number of key elements, we've got a rough idea of what to expect. Here are just some of the changes making their way to Warzone 2.
Gulag changes
On January 18, Infinity Ward stated there are 'exciting changes' coming to the battle royale. One area undergoing adjustments is the gulag which has been a hot topic of conversation among players. The Al Mazrah gulag launched with a new 2v2 format and an AI combatant known as the jailer.
Shortly after on January 19, the developer confirmed the gulag is returning to a 1v1 format, much to the delight of fans.

Looting changes
The announcement also mentions changes to looting. Warzone 2 launched with a more complex looting system that saw the arrival of backpacks allowing them to store more items to use throughout a match. Eventually, players stacked plenty of self-revives and killstreaks in a bid to become the last one standing.
The looting changes mean weapons from eliminated players and supply boxes now float above the ground, making them much easier to obtain quickly.
Loadout changes
Lastly, the developer mentions changes to loadouts are also coming in the Season Two update. Season One already saw the return of buyable loadout drop markers at buy stations alongside the ability to purchase individual weapons.
What other loadout changes are there to make? We'll have to wait and see how the developer manages to rescue the current state of the game and reverse its fortunes.

Perk changes
The most recent change involves customisable perk packages. The feature allows players to choose their own combination of perks but there's only a limited selection available.
It's great that there's more customisation but the limited choice could cause frustration as players search for the best combination.
When is Warzone 2 Season Two?
Season Two of Warzone 2 will begin on February 15. It was meant to start on February 1 before Activision announced the slight delay in order to allow developers extra time to implement changes and fix the multitude of bugs impacting players.
