Modern Warfare 3 Flashpoint mission walkthrough

A Call of Duty single-player isn't complete without a flashback mission and our Modern Warfare 3 Flashpoint walkthrough has all the intel you need to complete it.

The campaign early access window for Modern Warfare 3 is in full swing and with players working their way through the mission list, the campaign length is proving a hot topic of conversation in addition to the lack of Platinum Trophy for PS5 users. As it's a flashback mission, you're transported back to a very familiar location.

Modern Warfare 3 Flashpoint mission walkthrough

Flashpoint is the seventh Modern Warfare 3 campaign mission and after Farah's success when visiting the Crash Site, Price reflects on the first time he had the opportunity to stop Makarov once and for all. Players return to the iconic Verdansk as Konni Group unleashes a deadly attack on the stadium.

The mission kicks off with Price and Soap driving a truck towards the stadium while avoiding the fleeing civilians. After spotting two police officers opening fire on the fleeing people, the 141 step in.

Push through the concourse

After clearing the staircase from the underground road, head upstairs and into the concourse where even more Konni Group members are unleashing a barrage of bullets. Be careful not to hit any fleeing civilians while trying to take down any opposition.

After clearing the concourse, you find a narrow staircase. Make your way up the stairs, clearing out any enemies continuing their relentless rampage.

Enter the VIP suite

Breach the VIP suite. Inside are a handful of soldiers posing as paramedics. As you lean in to "help" one of them, they attempt to open fire but Price manages to stop them from inflicting even more damage.

Makarov isn't there. Move along the corridor and open up the closed lift shaft. Rappel down to the lower sections of the Verdansk stadium as the search for the Konni Group leader hots up.

At the end of the tunnel is an ambulance that shows no signs of stopping. After attempting to run down you and Price, it rolls over. Make your way over to the rear of the ambulance and open the door.

Inside the ambulance is a battered and bruised Makarov wearing an armour vest.

Escort Makarov

With Makarov now in custody, the battle to safely extract him from Verdansk is on. Use the melee button to keep Makarov moving along the tunnel. Soon after capturing him, several Konni Group soldiers stop you in your tracks, Once the tunnel is clear, advance down the tunnel and to the outside of the stadium.

Now outside, Ghost is providing sniper support. Clear out any Konni Group members taking cover behind vehicles. Most of the enemies are wearing armour so make sure you've got enough ammunition to deal with them quickly.

Once the area is clear, Ghost and General Shepherd land their helicopter. Climb aboard alongside Price and Makarov and take to the skies. Instead of Makarov looking scared, more explosions ring around Verdansk, much to the frustration of the Task Force.
