Yes, Modern Warfare 3 will have an early access period. However, you can only play the campaign during the window. This means you won't be able to experience multiplayer ahead of launch.

When is Modern Warfare 3 early access?

If Modern Warfare 3 follows the same system as Modern Warfare 2, the Modern Warfare 3 early access begins on November 2, 2023, eight days before the rest of the game becomes available to play.

The process of getting your hands on Modern Warfare 3 early is incredibly straightforward. To play the campaign ahead of launch, simply pre-order the game.

If you pre-order the Vault Edition, you can play the single-player story and complete it with plenty of time to spare before the multiplayer servers switch on.
