Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 villain revealed
As the focus switches towards the launch of the new game, a YouTube video is set to reveal that Makarov is on his way back as part of the Modern Warfare 3 storyline.
Vladimir Makarov is the main antagonist of the original Modern Warfare trilogy and instigates the infamous 'No Russian' mission in 2009's Modern Warfare 2.
Judging by the reaction to the video ahead of its initial premiere, there's plenty of excitement among players surrounding Makarov's return. "I can't wait any longer," one has declared.
Thankfully, it won't be long until players find out more about Makarov. The character reveal trailer above is bound to feature a closer look at his background and some clues surrounding his next sinister moves to stop the 141 in their tracks.
The initial Modern Warfare 3 teaser showcased a shadow of Makarov appearing alongside a badge resembling a snake with its mouth wide open. Based on Call of Duty lore, there's a high chance Makarov will feature as the leader of the Konni Group, which has recently arrived in Al Mazrah, coinciding with the in-game event taking place soon.
