Modern Warfare 2 Shipment release time - when is the map launching?

Season One Reloaded for Modern Warfare 2 is finally here! In addition to the Chimera assault rifle and the appearance of Gaz as a playable Operator, a legendary map is making its way back to multiplayer. With all eyes on its return, players are searching for intel on the Shipment release time.

Modern Warfare 2 Shipment release time

Shipment arrives to Modern Warfare 2 alongside the rest of the Season One Reloaded content on December 14 at 6PM GMT. With only a few hours until the chaos ensues, it won't be long until you're trying to drop 100 kills during a match!

Is shoot the ship returning to MW2?

Considering Shoot House is already in the multiplayer map pool and Shipment is joining it, the possibility of Infinity Ward adding Shoot the Ship as a new playlist is very high. This is great news if you're still working through the huge list of camo challenges.

At the time of writing, the developer hasn't mentioned the popular playlist returning but there's always a chance it will keep it for when a double XP event is active.

Although it's the smallest map in the entire Call of Duty franchise, Shipment continues to prove popular with those looking for constant action around every single corner. Even if you try and take cover inside a shipping container, there's a high chance a well-placed grenade will send you to the killcam screen.

When is Modern Warfare 2 Season Two?

Although Season One Reloaded has just started, attention is already moving towards the launch of Season Two and the potential arrival of more maps. If the current battle pass countdown timer is accurate, the next season is set to start on February 1, 2023 which is still a while away.
