In addition to new Operators, the background confirms the Castle map from World at War and Vanguard is on its way to multiplayer.

Modern Warfare 2 Season Two battle pass

Just like Season One, Season Two will have a brand-new battle pass packed with new content. The new sector structure allows players to navigate the progression tree in an alternative way by earning battle pass tokens.

You can choose to spend the tokens on a number of different sectors. Fancy unlocking a cool weapon blueprint ahead of a double XP token? No problem.

Information on what the Season Two battle pass contains is unknown but once we hear more, you'll be the first to know what's up for grabs.

Modern Warfare 2 Hardcore mode

Instead of Hardcore arriving when Modern Warfare 2 launched, fans were left disappointed with the appearance of Tier 1. Infinity Ward has listened and reverted the change much to the delight of fans.

Modern Warfare 2 Season Two guns

Every season, Infinity Ward brings new additions to the ever-expanding arsenal of weaponry and Season Two is no different. Despite no information on the guns appearing in the upcoming season, we can attempt to predict which areas of the arsenal need some attention.

The arrival of a new marksman rifle would make sense as they've not managed to make a dent on the meta. A new LMG wouldn't go amiss either.

Despite our predictions, a recent leak reveals that the Crossbow is returning in Season Two alongside a new shotgun known as the VEPR-12. As always, take leaks with a pinch of salt until more official information emerges.

According to a recent data mine, a game mode logo containing two spanners suggests the popular Cranked mode is on its way to MW2 multiplayer.

As always, make sure you take leaks with a pinch of salt but considering the logo is already within the files of the game, there's a chance Cranked is coming in Season Two.

Is Ronin in Modern Warfare 2?

As mentioned above, the Season Two artwork seems to confirm Ronin is the main focus of the next Modern Warfare 2 seasonal update. With Raids arriving in Season One Reloaded, there's every chance he appears in the second Raid which is a continuation of the single-player campaign.
