So far, the Signal 50 and the SP-X 80 are two snipers proving extremely popular. The Signal 50 comes with a semi-automatic firing mechanism while the SP-X features a bolt-action mechanism. Both are capable of scoring a kill with a single bullet and suit all styles of play.
Competition at the top of the category is extremely close but the Signal and the SP-X continue to steal the show. We'll keep monitoring the category as the Modern Warfare 2 game cycle progresses.

With a total of five snipers to use, there are minimal differences between the rifles on offer.

Is the Intervention in Modern Warfare 2?
At the time of writing, the Intervention doesn't feature in Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer but it does appear in a Special Ops mission. It's unclear if the iconic sniper from 2009's Modern Warfare 2 will appear in a future update but it's safe to say players would be extremely happy to use it.
