With Season 6 of Modern Warfare 2 in full swing, attention is already turning towards the launch of Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 Reloaded.
The mid-season update will be the final drop of content before the launch of Modern Warfare 3 and as it's the final season, there's plenty of new content on the way.
The start of Season 6 saw the arrival of a new battle pass packed with numerous Halloween skins in addition to the ISO 9mm SMG that's already proving popular in multiplayer matches.

When is Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 Reloaded?
The Season 6 Reloaded update is expected to kick off on October 17, 2023 at 5 PM BST / 9 AM PT. This is the same date as the Halloween event taking over Warzone and shortly after the Modern Warfare 3 beta has concluded.

Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 Reloaded weapons
There's only one new addition to the weapon arsenal in Season 6 Reloaded. As part of the Doom weapons bundle, a chainsaw, which is actually a Pickaxe variant, makes its way to multiplayer.

As part of The Haunting event, Infinity Ward has reskinned several multiplayer maps and game modes to give them a spooky twist. Here's a closer look:

- Haunting Kill Confirmed - Skulls to replace Dog Tags
- Haunting Infected - Infected players will appear as zombies
- Haunting Drop Zone Drop Scares - The crates that drop will contain jumpscares
- Haunting Domination - Scarecrows will replace the objective flags
Modern Warfare 2 Soul Capture event
Alongside a new weapon and some reskinned maps, the Soul Capture event gives players an opportunity to earn plenty of free rewards for playing the game.
Simply collect Souls during matches then choose what to spend them on in the menu once it appears.
Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 Reloaded daily login rewards
After appearing in Season 5, daily login rewards are back in Season 6 Reloaded. By logging into the game, earn all kinds of rewards but be aware, that they're only around for a limited time.
