Understanding how to unlock the Carrack .300 in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone is essential intel if you're a fan of using a sniper rifle and making an impact in long-distance duels. Season 5 for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone is here and there are plenty of new additions coming to the weapon arsenal.

In addition to the FR Avancer assault rifle, the Carrack .300 heavily resembles the WA2000 sniper from 2009's Modern Warfare 2 and is one of the few semi-automatic snipers available in multiplayer and the battle royale. It's also part of the battle pass, meaning it's free for everyone to unlock.

How to get Carrack .300

As mentioned earlier, the Carrack .300 sniper rifle features in Sector E7 of the Season 5 battle pass, meaning you don't have to spend any money or COD Points to obtain the sniper in your collection of weaponry.

Like in previous seasons, you'll need to complete the smaller unlocks of a battle pass sector before spending another token to complete it and get your hands on the Carrack .300.

Is the Carrack .300 good in Warzone and MW2?

It's unclear if the Carrack .300 will have the ability to spice up the Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 meta. However, there's a chance of it featuring in the loadouts of several players as they attempt to see if it's a viable option or if it's another sniper that's worth avoiding.

Activision says all you need to do is "line up a shot to the head or upper chest" in order to make an impact with it. So, for passive play, it could prove lethal as targets wonder into the crosshair.
