Hogwarts Legacy audio issues - How to fix missing voices

Some players are unable to hear the voice lines of their character and in some cases, it is due to a bug. Here’s how you can fix it:

  • Change the language of the game from your current language to a different one.
  • Revert it back to the original language.
  • Restart the game.

This is a quick fix that addresses Hogwarts Legacy’s audio issues, but if you are still facing problems, here is an alternate solution that you can try on Windows:

  1. Go to Sound.
  2. Click on Playback.
  3. Right-click on Playback Devices and click on Properties.
  4. Click on all Enhancements.
  5. Re-launch the game.

If you are on a console, go to your audio settings and see if your audio peripherals are connected to your console. If you are facing issues, restart your Xbox or PlayStation and see if it resolves the issue.

Hogwarts Legacy audio issues - How to fix robotic voices

When you create a character in Hogwarts Legacy, you will get to choose your character’s voice pitch. While the character creation menu might have normal voice samples, when you actually start playing the game, Hogwarts Legacy’s audio issues might pop up with your character sounding very robotic.

Don’t worry, as you do not have to create a brand new character to fix the issue. All you need to do is go to your game’s Sound settings and you will notice a “Pitch” slider. Adjust it close to the middle of the slider and the audio issues should be resolved.

The voice slider does not work as intended, with only the two default voices work properly. It is possible that the issue will be fixed in a future patch, but until then all you can do is use the default voices. A patch is expected to drop very soon, which might include a fix for the problem. Do remember to tweak the voice slider and see if the issue is resolved after the patch goes live.
