How to destroy orbs in Hogwarts Legacy
At some point, the Pensieve Guardian will start creating colourful orbs and throwing them at you. These projectiles deal lots of damage, so you will need to know how to avoid them. There are two primary methods to destroy these orbs.
The first way to destroy the Pensieve Guardian orb is to throw a statue at it. There are a few statues that stand across the arena, and you can levitate them with your magic spells. If you throw one of these statues at the guardian’s orb, you will destroy it.
The second way to destroy the orb is to hit it with a magical spell that matches its colour. These orbs can have three different colours. There are red orbs, purple orbs, and yellow orbs. For example, if the boss creates the yellow orb, then you will need to hit it with the Levioso spell, which belongs to the yellow category of spells. Before you start this boss fight, you need to make sure that you have at least one spell of each type in your rotation.
How to avoid orbs in Hogwarts Legacy
You can also try to dodge these orbs, but this method is unreliable. Fortunately, you can hide behind one of the pillars that you'll find across the boss arena. If the orb hits a pillarm then both of them will be destroyed. Even though you can avoid a few orbs this way, these pillars are not effective, so the best way to avoid damage from this attack is to destroy the orb.
