Instead of a tunnel eventually revealing the best player you've received from a pack, EA has switched things up with an all-new animation containing all kinds of lights towards the sign of the crest that eventually reveals the player.

Ultimate Team expert Nofil Khan has noticed the brightness of the light strips is the key to telling you've got a notable player.

For players rated between 83 and 85, two small strips of light appear before the position of the player is revealed.

If there's no light whatsoever, there aren't any high-rated players in the pack.

How to spot a walkout in EA Sports FC 24

Just like the players rated between 83 and 85, there's a way of spotting if you've packed a player that has a minimum rating of 86.

The two strips of light on the right-hand side will be more visible and there'll be another line of light appearing when the position and the club of the player are revealed.

It may take a bit of getting used to, but once you do, you'll be able to tell the difference between a board and a walkout with ease.
