EA continues to share more information surrounding EA Sports FC 24 Evolution and how the feature will impact Ultimate Team. The new era of EA Sports FC 24 is on the horizon and the developer continues to share information on the innovations included in the new release.
In addition to all of the new Heroes and Icons arriving, EA is introducing a new element to Ultimate Team known as Evolution where you have the opportunity to earn better players without the need to spend your hard-earned coins.

What is EA Sports FC 24 Evolution?
EA Sports FC 24 Evolution is a new feature making its way to Ultimate Team. It enables you to increase the overall rating and stats of players by completing challenges and objectives.
You'll have the opportunity to evolve every single player in Ultimate Team, including Icons and Team of the Week (TOTW) players.
For example, Borussia Dortmund's Youssoufa Moukoko starts off as a silver player with an overall of 70. After completing two Evolution challenges, Moukoko becomes a gold card with an overall of 85.
Alongside increases in stats, the evolutions will also improve their individual skills, Playstyles, and card designs.
Which EA Sports FC 24 players can you evolve?
According to EA, it appears you can perform an evolution on any player in Ultimate Team. Whether it's a TOTW Haaland or a standard Nick Pope, there are opportunities to improve their in-game performance without spending coins or FIFA Points to use on packs.
The first season of content will contain 12 Evolutions, with six being available to complete at launch.
EA Sports FC 24 Evolution types
EA Sports 24 Evolutions come with three different types and influence different parts of the Ultimate Team player. Here are all of the categories:
- Gameplay - Provides updates to a variety of in-game stats ranging from overall increases to specific attributes.
- Utility - Evolutions designed to offer increased flexibility when building squads. These Evolutions upgrade alternate positions, adjust work rates, and more.
- Cosmetic - These Evolutions focus on improving the cosmetic appearance of the player item.
