How to unlock Vanellope Von Schweetz in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To unlock Vanellope von Schweetz, players must first start the special quest given to them by Scrooge McDuck, called The Haunting of Dreamlight Valley. In this quest, you'll visit the Dream Castle following Scrooge McDuck's reported sighting of a ghost. However, upon arriving at the Dream Castle, you'll find Vanellope von Schweetz standing at the top of the stairs next to the water fountain.
Speaking to Vanellope will reveal that she's lost control of her glitching power, causing her to disappear and reappear randomly: hence Scrooge McDuck's ghost sighting. To help resolve the issue, Vanellope will ask you to take some photos of different items across Dreamlight Valley using the DreamSnaps mechanic.
After speaking to Vanellope, your quest with Scrooge McDuck will be complete, and you'll be able to continue with her quest line. You'll only need to complete the quest "Faith, Trust, and Pixel Dust" as the final step to unlock Vanellope.
