How to catch Festive Fugu in Disney Dreamlight Valley

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, Fugu is notoriously one of the hardest fish to catch in the game. However, the Festive Fugu is much more forthcoming, as you'll be able to catch it irrespective of the weather conditions. The only restriction on catching a Festive Fugu is that the fish is only available to catch between December 18 and December 31 each year.

This means that the Festive Fugu is available to catch in Disney Dreamlight Valley right now. To catch it, you'll have to head to Dazzle Beach and look for some red and green ripples in the water. It may take some waiting, but you'll eventually see some; to catch the Festive Fugu, cast your line into the ripples. You can only catch one Festive Fugu in Dreamlight Valley, so if you caught one last year, you'll not be able to this year.

You'll only really be catching the Festive Fugu in Disney Dreamlight Valley in order to complete the Even Fish Are Festive duty. This task is available throughout the festive period, until December 31, 2023.

Beyond this, there's little use for the Festive Fugu. You are able to gift the fish to your fellow villagers, and eating the fish will give you a load of energy to refresh yourself. You'll gain 2,000 energy after eating a Festive Fugu.
