Apex Legends Season 18 countdown - Update release time and download size

The next Apex Legends season is right around the corner and players are looking forward to getting their hands on a wealth of content making its way to Respawn Entertainment's battle royale.

Season 18 is set to feature a range of new additions ranging from Revenant Reborn to another batch of weapon buffs and nerfs capable of spicing up the existing meta for casual and ranked matches. Speaking of ranked, the developer plans on making plenty of changes to enhance the competitive experience even further.

Thanks to recent gameplay trailers, Season 18 is set to begin on August 8, 2023, which isn't far away at all.

The update is set to introduce a new battle pass containing a number of rewards alongside the Death Dynasty Collection Event which also contains plenty of exclusive cosmetic items to obtain.

Apex Legends Season 18 download size

So far, Respawn Entertainment hasn't shared any information surrounding the Apex Legends Season 18 download size. However, we can estimate how much hard drive space you'll need based on previous seasonal updates.

For Season 17, the update was 8.9 GB for PC and PlayStation 5 while the Xbox update was slightly larger at 16 GB.

Considering there's plenty of new content on the way, there's a chance Season 18's download size will be similar. Once more intel appears, we'll reveal how much space you need to clear on your hard drive in order to download the update without issue.
