Apex Legends Death Dynasty collection event - Start date, Heirloom, and more

As part of the next season, the Apex Legends Death Dynasty Collection Event brings a wealth of new content into Respawn Entertainment's battle royale. Just like previous Apex Legends seasons, Season 18 sees the arrival of another collection event to earn some exclusive items.

The upcoming update features all kinds of changes ranging from Revenant Reborn to another Heirloom making an appearance.

Apex Legends Death Dynasty event release date

The Apex Legends Death Dynasty Collection Event will begin on August 8, 2023, coinciding with the start of Season 18. The event should start at exactly the same time as the new season at approximately 6 PM BST / 10 AM PT.

Like all collection events, Death Dynasty will run for two weeks, coming to an end on August 22, 2023.

Apex Legends Revenant Heirloom

After receiving a major rework in Season 18, Revenant is the latest Legend to receive an Heirloom. Rather than an all-new item, the Heirloom is a recolour. Known as the Death Grip, you can get your hands on the item by completing all 24 Collection Event items before the end date.

The Apex Legends Death Dynasty Collection Event is no different to other Collection Events that have taken place in previous seasons.

In order to obtain the Heirloom above, you need to earn 24 other items by earning event points and completing challenges. Here are just some of the rewards up for grabs:

Apex Legends double XP

As part of the Death Dynasty Collection Event, Respawn Entertainment has decided to activate double XP, enabling players to rank up their accounts as fast as possible. Here's when the next double XP event takes place:

• Battle royale - August 8-15
• Mixtape - August 15-22
