How do you solve the mother-crow and beast riddle in Alan Wake 2?

The mother-crow and beast riddle is the final riddle you can solve in the Cauldron Lake area as Saga. To complete the riddle, you'll first need to have picked up the crow doll from the crow riddle and the hero and wolf dolls from their respective riddle.

To find the location of the third and final riddle, head to the top-left section of the area's map to the Private Cabin. You can find it to the east of where you found the crow riddle and south of the hero and wolf riddle.

The Private Cabin, where you can find the mother-crow and beast riddle.

Behind the cabin and next to a fallen tree, you'll find a rhyme on the floor surrounded by chalk symbols. The rhyme will read as follows:

"A mother-crow sits in her nest
Guarding her babies, doing her best
To protect her home from the Beast coming to feast
But only a Hero brave of heart can keep the two apart."

Interact with the riddle and its surrounding symbols, so that you're able to place the dolls on the various symbols surrounding it. Each of the solutions requires you to place all three dolls on their appropriate symbol, according to the nursery rhyme.

To solve the riddle, place the crow on the hatched egg (guarding her nest), the hero on the heart (brave of heart), and the wolf on the house (beast coming to feast). This will reveal a black trail, which you can follow to a red model house near the Witch's Hut.
