Genshin Impact Venti Build Guide - Everything You Need to Know

A mysterious bard that wanders around the city of Mondstadt, Venti is a cheerful kid with a secret identity to protect. Dubbed “Tone-Deaf Bard” by Paimon, he’s a playful character that enjoys eating Apples, drinking Dandelion Wine, and speaking in rhymes. On the battlefield, he’s easily the best Support in the game, with DPS potential too.

Venti displays his full potential when you pair him with the proper teammates. As a support, he can give bonuses in Attack, and the potential that “Wind’s Grand Ode” has at triggering Elemental Reactions is extremely effective. However, if you want to play Venti on a more offensive approach, he can be a pretty decent DPS if you give him a proper boost to his Critical stats, Elemental Skills, Bursts, and Anemo damage overall.

Normal Attack - Divine Marksmanship

Normal Attack
Performs up to 6 consecutive shots with a bow.
Charged Attack
Perform a more precise Aimed Shot with increased damage. A fully charged arrow will deal Anemo damage.
Plunging Attack
Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and dealing AoE damage upon landing.

Elemental Skill - Skyward Sonnet

Press
Summons a Wind Domain at the enemy's location, dealing AoE Anemo damage and launching enemies into the air.
Hold
Summons an even larger Wind Domain with Venti as the epicenter, dealing AoE Anemo damage and launching affected enemies into the air. After releasing the Hold version of this ability, Venti rides the wind up into the air. Enemies hit by Skyward Sonnet will fall to the ground slowly.

Elemental Burst - Wind's Grand Ode

Fires off an arrow that creates a huge Stormeye that sucks in objects and enemies along its path, dealing continuous Anemo damage. If the Stormeye comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro elements, it will deal additional elemental damage of that type. This effect can be triggered only once per use.

Passive Talents

Embrace of Winds
Holding Skyward Sonnet creates an air current that lasts for 20 seconds.

Stormeye
Regenerates 15 Energy for Venti after the effects of Wind's Grand Ode end. If an Elemental Absorption occurred, this also restores 15 Energy to all characters of that corresponding element.

Windrider
Decreases all party member's gliding Stamina Consumption by 20%. Doesn’t stack with skills that provide the same effect.

Example Builds for Venti

Support Build
Weapon 1 - Elegy of the End
Due to this bow’s Skill, the effect is perfect for a Support setup, being able to boost your party members ATK very often. However, since it’s a 5-star item it may take a while for you to get your hands on it, which takes us to the next option.

Weapon 2 - The Stringless
This bow is easy enough to obtain and with its skill buffing your Elemental Burst, you can unleash some interesting Elemental Absorptions in tandem with the other Party members.

Artifacts - Noblesse Oblige or The Exile (4 Parts)
Basically the same, your choice relies on whether you want to boost the Attack or the Energy Regeneration of your teammates every time you use your Elemental Burst.

DPS Build
Weapon - Skyward Harp
With a native boost on Critical Rate and Damage, being able to inflict an AoE with a 125% Attack Bonus makes it the perfect option for a DPS Build.

Artifacts - Viridescent Venerer (4 Pieces)
With a bonus on Anemo damage and a boost to your Swirl reactions, this works perfectly as it also reduces your enemies’ Resistance to Swirl.
