Will the Genshin Impact Venti Banner Return?
Venti is obtainable by spending wishes in the Event Banner 'Ballad in Goblets,' which happens every few months, so keep your eyes open and good luck!
What Are the Best Venti Builds?
As a support character, Venti can give bonuses in Attack, and the potential that 'Wind’s Grand Ode' has to trigger Elemental Reactions is extremely effective. However, if you want to play Venti more offensively, his DPS is pretty decent if you give him a proper boost to his Elemental Skills, Bursts, and Anemo damage overall.
Below are two of the best Venti builds right now. You can keep reading to find out the hows and whys of these particular Venti builds, but if you've used him before, you'll quickly understand the thought process behind his best weapon and artifact choices.
|Role||Best Weapon||Alternative Weapon||Best Artifacts||Alternative Artifacts|
|Anemo DPS Build||Skyward Harp||The Viridescent Hunt||Viridescent Venerer (4 Pieces)||Gladiator's Finale (2 Pieces) & Viridescent Venerer (2 Pieces)|
|Anemo Support Build||Elegy of the End||The Stringless||Noblesse Oblige (4 Parts)||The Exile (4 Parts)|
Venti Support Build
Due to Elegy of the End’s Skill, the effect is perfect for a Support setup, being able to boost your party members' Attack very often. However, since it’s a five-star item, it may take a while for you to get your hands on it, which takes us to The Stringless. A bow that is easy enough to obtain, and with a skill that buffs your Elemental Burst, you can unleash some interesting Elemental Absorptions with this more affordable option.
On the Artifacts side, either of the two options is basically the same, and your choice relies on whether you want to boost the Attack or the Energy Regeneration of your teammates every time you use your Elemental Burst.
Venti DPS Build
With a native boost on Critical Rate and Damage, being able to inflict an AoE with a 125% Attack Bonus makes Skyward Harp the perfect option for a DPS Build. Viridescent Venerer and its bonus on Anemo damage and Swirl reactions work perfectly, as it also reduces your enemies’ Resistance to Swirl.
What Are the Best Team Comps for Venti?
Venti displays his full potential when you pair him with the proper teammates. On the battlefield, he’s easily the best Support in the game with DPS potential too, which means that he can be paired with characters such as Ganyu, Mona, or Bennett , great units that can quickly trigger Swirl Reactions.
What Are the Best Weapons for Venti?
Weapons like the Skyward Harp or Elegy of the End are easily the best options for these builds. However, you can also find a more affordable and equally good alternative in the form of The Stringless or The Viridescent Hunt. Last but not least, if you’re looking for a craftable option, you can obtain the Compound Bow if you still don’t have any of the former.
|Weapon||Rarity||Stats||Skills||How to Obtain|
|Skyward Harp||5-Star||Critical Rate||Echoing Ballad: Increases Critical damage by 20%. Hits have a 60% chance to inflict a small AoE attack, dealing 125% Physical Attack damage. Can only occur once every 4 seconds.||Wishes|
|Elegy of the End||5-Star||Energy Recharge||The Parting Refrain: Increased Elemental Mastery by 60. User gains a Sigil of Remembrance when dealing damage with Elemental Skill or Burst. Elemental Mastery increased by 100 and Attack increased by 20% for all the party members when 4 sigils are obtained. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Remembrance for 20 seconds.||Wishes|
|The Stringless||4-Star||Elemental Mastery||Arrowless Song: Increases Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst damage by 24%.||Wishes|
|The Viridescent Hunt||4-Star||Critical Rate||Verdant Wind: Upon hit, Normal and Aimed Shot have a 50% chance to generate a Cyclone, which will continuously attract surrounding enemies, dealing 40% of Attack as Damage to these enemies every 0.5 seconds, for 4 seconds. This effect can only occur once every 14 seconds.||Wishes|
|Compound Bow||4-Star||Physical Damage Bonus||Infusion Arrow: Normal Attack and Charged Attack hits increase Attack by 4% and Normal Attack Speed by 1.2% for 6 seconds. Max 4 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.3 seconds.||Crafting|

What Are the Best Artifacts for Venti?
Depending on which build you choose to make, you may need Noblesse Oblige/The Exile sets in case you want to use Venti as a Support or Viridescent Venerer for DPS purposes. How many of these you choose to equip on him will depend on your gameplay style, so it is suggested that you test different builds and how they work as mixed or full sets before making your decision.
|Artifacts||Two-Piece Effect||Four-Piece Effect|
|Viridescent Venerer||Anemo damage Bonus +15%||Increases Swirl damage by 60%. Decreases opponent's Elemental Resistance to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for 10 seconds.|

|The Exile||Energy Recharge +20%||Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 2 Energy for all the other party members every 2 seconds, for 6 seconds. This effect cannot stack.|
|Gladiator's Finale||Attack +18%.||If the wielder of this artifact set uses a Sword, Claymore or Polearm, increases their Normal Attack damage by 35%.|
Venti Artifact Stats
Given Venti's set of skills, you want to develop Elemental Mastery as the main stat and focus on boosting Attack and Critical Rate/Damage as the sub-stats.
|Slot||Main Stat||Sub Stats|
|Feather||Attack||Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Attack%, Elemental Mastery|
|Flower||HP||Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Attack%, Elemental Mastery|
|Hourglass||Attack%||Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Attack, Elemental Mastery|
|Goblet||Anemo Damage Bonus||Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Attack%, Elemental Mastery|
|Headpiece||Critical Damage/Critical Rate||Critical Damage/Rate, Elemental Mastery, Attack%, Energy Recharge|
What Are Venti's Skills and Talents?
Venti’s Skills cover various areas, since they're a good way to trigger Swirl Reactions and offer great crowd control tools, which help you to manipulate where you want to gather the enemy groups to later act on them with your main DPS.
|Normal Attack||Performs up to 6 consecutive shots with a bow.|
|Charged Attack||Perform a more precise Aimed Shot with increased damage. A fully charged arrow will deal Anemo damage.|
|Plunging Attack||Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and dealing AoE damage upon landing.|
|Elemental Skill - Skyward Sonnet||Press Summons a Wind Domain at the enemy's location, dealing AoE Anemo damage and launching enemies into the air. Hold Summons an even larger Wind Domain with Venti as the epicenter, dealing AoE Anemo damage and launching affected enemies into the air. After releasing the Hold version of this ability, Venti rides the wind into the air. Enemies hit by Skyward Sonnet will fall to the ground slowly.|
|Elemental Burst - Wind's Grand Ode||Fires off an arrow that creates a huge Stormeye that sucks in objects and enemies along its path, dealing continuous Anemo damage. If the Stormeye comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro elements, it will deal additional elemental damage of that type. This effect can be triggered only once per use.|
|Talent#1 - Embrace of Winds||Holding Skyward Sonnet creates an air current that lasts for 20 seconds.|
|Talent#2 - Stormeye||Regenerates 15 Energy for Venti after the effects of Wind's Grand Ode end. If an Elemental Absorption occurred, this also restores 15 Energy to all characters of that corresponding element.|
|Talent#3 - Windrider||Decreases all party member's gliding Stamina Consumption by 20%. Doesn’t stack with skills that provide the same effect.|
What Are Venti's Constellations?
If you get to pull Venti multiple times, you will eventually reach a level of the constellation that will turn him into an excellent Anemo unit, with improvements on all his Skills and their respective cooldowns, making Venti a great crowd control unit that can support your party.
|Splitting Gales||Fires 2 additional arrows per Aimed Shot, each dealing 33% of the original arrow's damage.|
|Breeze of Reminiscence||Skyward Sonnet decreases enemy Anemo Resistance by 12% for 10 seconds. Enemies launched up in the air by Skyward Sonnet suffer an additional 12% Anemo Resistance and Physical Resistance reduction while airborne.|
|Ode to Thousand Winds||Increases the Level of Wind's Grand Ode by 3, up to a maximum of 15.|
|Hurricane of Freedom||When Venti picks up an Elemental Orb or Particle, he receives a 25% Anemo damage Bonus for 10 seconds.|
|Concerto dal Cielo||Increase the Level of Skyward Sonnet by 3, up to a maximum of 15.|
|Storm of Defiance||Targets who take damage from Wind's Grand Ode have their Anemo Resistance decreased by 20%. If an Elemental Absorption occurred, then their Resistance towards the corresponding Element is also decreased by 20%.|
What Are Venti's Ascension Materials?
Ascending Venti boosts his Energy Recharge and HP stats more than anything else, a welcomed improvement that makes him a great Anemo unit whether he’s a Support or DPS. Farming the Anemo Hypostasis can take a fair while, but they're worth the time investment.
|Ascension Rank||Required Level||Required Materials|
|1||20||20000 Mora, Vayuda Turquoise Sliver x1, Cecilia x3, Slime Condensate x3|
