How do I get Venti in Genshin Impact?

Venti is obtainable by spending wishes in the Event Banner 'Ballad in Goblets,' which is due to rerun in Version 3.1, featuring new 4-Star Candace.

What are the best Venti builds?

As a support character, Venti can give bonuses in Attack, and the potential that 'Wind’s Grand Ode' has to trigger Elemental Reactions is extremely effective. However, if you want to play Venti more offensively, his DPS is pretty decent if you give him a proper boost to his Elemental Skills, Bursts, and Anemo damage overall.

Below are two of the best Venti builds right now. You can keep reading to find out the hows and whys of these particular Venti builds, but if you've used him before, you'll quickly understand the thought process behind his best weapon and artifact choices.

Venti support build

Due to Elegy of the End’s Skill, the effect is perfect for a Support setup, being able to boost your party members' Attack very often. However, since it’s a five-star item, it may take a while for you to get your hands on it, which takes us to The Stringless. A bow that is easy enough to obtain, and with a skill that buffs your Elemental Burst, you can unleash some interesting Elemental Absorptions with this more affordable option.

On the Artifacts side, either of the two options is basically the same, and your choice relies on whether you want to boost the Attack or the Energy Regeneration of your teammates every time you use your Elemental Burst.

Venti DPS build

With a native boost on Critical Rate and Damage, being able to inflict an AoE with a 125% Attack Bonus makes Skyward Harp the perfect option for a DPS Build. Viridescent Venerer and its bonus on Anemo damage and Swirl reactions work perfectly, as it also reduces your enemies’ Resistance to Swirl.

What are the best Team Comps for Venti?

Venti displays his full potential when you pair him with the proper teammates. On the battlefield, he’s easily the best Support in the game with DPS potential too, which means that he can be paired with characters such as Ganyu, Mona, or Bennett , great units that can quickly trigger Swirl Reactions.

Weapons like the Skyward Harp or Elegy of the End are easily the best options for these builds. However, you can also find a more affordable and equally good alternative in the form of The Stringless or The Viridescent Hunt. Last but not least, if you’re looking for a craftable option, you can obtain the Compound Bow if you still don’t have any of the former.

What are Venti's Skills and Talents?

Venti’s Skills cover various areas, since they're a good way to trigger Swirl Reactions and offer great crowd control tools, which help you to manipulate where you want to gather the enemy groups to later act on them with your main DPS.

Attack
Effect
Normal Attack
Performs up to 6 consecutive shots with a bow.
Charged Attack
Perform a more precise Aimed Shot with increased damage. A fully charged arrow will deal Anemo damage.
Plunging Attack
Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and dealing AoE damage upon landing.
Elemental Skill - Skyward Sonnet
Press Summons a Wind Domain at the enemy's location, dealing AoE Anemo damage and launching enemies into the air. Hold Summons an even larger Wind Domain with Venti as the epicenter, dealing AoE Anemo damage and launching affected enemies into the air. After releasing the Hold version of this ability, Venti rides the wind into the air. Enemies hit by Skyward Sonnet will fall to the ground slowly.
Elemental Burst - Wind's Grand Ode
Fires off an arrow that creates a huge Stormeye that sucks in objects and enemies along its path, dealing continuous Anemo damage. If the Stormeye comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro elements, it will deal additional elemental damage of that type. This effect can be triggered only once per use.
Talent#1 - Embrace of Winds
Holding Skyward Sonnet creates an air current that lasts for 20 seconds.
Talent#2 - Stormeye
Regenerates 15 Energy for Venti after the effects of Wind's Grand Ode end. If an Elemental Absorption occurred, this also restores 15 Energy to all characters of that corresponding element.
Talent#3 - Windrider
Decreases all party member's gliding Stamina Consumption by 20%. Doesn’t stack with skills that provide the same effect.
