Ninja polls over 17k Fortnite players on which in-game item they want to own in real life

Since taking a sudden break at the start of September and returning with a vow to stream “everywhere”, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has been doing just that, popping up across various platforms to earn victory royales and discuss the fortunes of his beloved Detroit Lions.

The streamer’s new attitude has also led to an unexpected reunion with Dr Disrespect, though we’re still waiting on a repeat of that infamous stream with Drake, Travis Scott and JuJu Smith-Schuster.

For now, Blevins seems to be sticking to serving as one of the pillars of the Fortnite community, having randomly decided to poll players on which item from the game they’d fancy owning in real life.

Which of these Fortnite items do you think would be most useful in real life?

Taking to Twitter, Blevins set up a poll featuring a pair of Spiderman gloves, a goo gun, a launch pad, and a rift, before asking his followers: “Which Fortnite item would you want (in real life)?

Naturally, such a weighty query attracted a lot of answers from introspective Fortnite players, over 17k of whom have contributed their opinion to the poll as of writing.

The item currently leading the way in the pool is the game’s Spiderman gloves, which have amassed 52.7% of the total vote and hold a comfortable lead over the rift, which sits in second place with 29.4% of the vote. Lagging behind the two are the launch pad and goo gun, which have amassed 9.1% and 8.8% of the vote respectively.

The replies to Blevins’ tweet offer some indications of why things have shaken out this way, with user @Vulturret questioning how useful the rift and launch pad might be if you couldn’t land safely.
