While some GTA Online players are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer by getting up to wacky hijinks and spending all of their hard-earned cash, others are already looking forward to GTA 6.

For many, this has meant diverting their attention to agonising over what'll happen to their current fortune when the new game eventually arrives or trying to predict its map using unconventional means.

Though, for some Reddit users, all it’s entailed so far is contributing their desires for the new version of GTA Online that will likely accompany the series' next entry to a wishlist thread.

What would your ideal version of GTA Online 2 look like?

The thread in question on the GTA Online subreddit has since been locked by moderators, but began with a post from user Oldmanred79, who simply asked: “What's on your wish list for GTA Online 2?

Naturally, their fellow players were quick to supply a barrage of suggestions, with one idea that’s seemingly at the top of the list being the demise of some of the game’s sci-fi inspired toys, which user nopestillgotit recommended ditching in favour of more grounded guns and cars, citing how much fun they had playing GTA 4’s online component.

On the other hand, user kapixelek outlined their desire for any very expensive items not to be overpowered to the point that they have to be banned from missions, saying of their RC Bandito: “I didn't buy it just to have it sit in my garage and collect dust.”

User Sprygull97 also focused on changes to jobs and heists, emphasising that they’d like the latter to be doable for solo players without having to rely on teaming up with random players who can be unpredictable and not very helpful.

Meanwhile, user TonyTuffStuff joking suggested: “I want horses. Dangerous wildlife. Bandits. Stagecoaches. Hunting. Bank robberies. Campouts. Swappable hats.”, prompting Ill_Ant_1857 to lament: “We could have had all this. (If) only they (had) made Red Dead Online more playable.”

Regardless of whether any of these desires make your own GTA Online 2 wishlist, make sure to follow us for more GTA Online and GTA 6 updates as new vehicles and more arrive.
