After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA 5?
Currently, some online players are trying to do just that by digging into the Los Santos Drug Wars DLC’s interesting characters and vehicles or by grinding the Cayo Perico heist. However, if you prefer sticking to single player and aren’t into Baywatch, a new mod might be worth checking out.
Fancy giving one of Los Santos’ most decadent neighbourhoods a holiday makeover?
The mod in question is called ‘RockFord Hills Christmas Market’ and is the work of modder mad's desgins. A lot of their previous modding work has also been focused on making interesting location-based additions to GTA 5’s single-player, including a new skatepark in Vinewood and a concert set to the Sisyphus Theater.
This time, they’ve decided to close off a couple of Rockford Hills’ busiest boulevards in order to install a Christmas market among the sea of high-end clothing stores and overpriced hair salons.
If you pop by, you’ll find the grandiose boulevards filled with festive stalls, plus a bar and a stage for carollers, providing the perfect backdrops if you’re planning on sending your relatives Christmas cards with Trevor Phillips on them.
If that’s exactly what your yuletide plans are, or you just want to spice up GTA 5’s map for the festive period, you’ll first need to grab the popular roleplaying mod ‘FiveM’ and possibly also ‘Script Hook V’ in order to get things working as they should.
Alternatively, if you want your GTA 5 holiday period to be a bit more hardcore, you could check out the New Year’s rave that’s raging in Blaine County’s quarry.
