While some GTA players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer.

After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?

Currently, some are trying to do just that by digging into the freshly released Los Santos Drug Wars DLC, which contains some interesting new characters and vehicles, but has disappointed some players due to its lack of in-ring action.

Do you think your protagonist has what it takes to become the GTA Online heavyweight champion?

The desire of one player to deliver some suplexes to the Fooliganz forms the subject of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from user yung_blink, who shared an image of DLC character Luchadora and declared: “Why would they add a luchadora and mention a wrestling league if there’s nothing else related to wrestling in the DLC? Not even a wrestling ring at the Freakshop.”

A few of their fellow criminals agreed and suggested that they’re hopeful that there might be something wrestling related in the chapters of the DLC that are still to come, even if it’s just a mini-game, with user Stubbedtoe18 saying: “Huge missed opportunity to not include wrestling matches we could bet on à la the casino horse races.”

On the other hand, a number of users argued that expecting something more wasn’t a good idea, suggesting that the only reason that the wrestling references had been included in the DLC was in order to establish the Fooliganz as a parody of real world ‘juggalos’, fans of the the hip hop group Insane Clown Posse.

Meanwhile, user Rat_faced_knacker pointed out that adding more wrestling to the DLC would fit with this satire, saying: “The ICP has been involved with 4 different major American wrestling promotions, run their own wrestling company and were in the Backyard Wrestling games.”
