While some GTA players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer by spending all of their hard-earned cash, moving to the countryside or becoming a lifeguard in story mode.
After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?
Currently, some players are doing just that by digging into the freshly released Los Santos Drug Wars DLC, though it seems they’re struggling to reach a consensus on whether to love or hate one of its main characters.

This reflection of the duality of human nature forms the subject of a couple of recent threads on the GTA Online subreddit, one of which began with a post from user NirvanaNightmare, who shared a picture of Dax and declared: “Well done to Rockstar for making another annoying character.”
While some of their fellow GTA players in the thread shared this sentiment to a degree, with many pointing out Dax’s inability to stop talking about bottoms as a turn-off, a range of players suggested that they didn’t think he was too bad by GTA Online character standards.
For example, user FlyingCircus18 argued: “He could be way worse, at least he gets his hands dirty if it all comes down (to that). Sessanta and KDJ are all talk.”, while Syn0l1f3 added: “This guy doesn't talk down to us, isn't always horny and some of what he says is actually funny.”
A few users didn’t even have to compare Dax to some of GTA Online’s most universally hated characters in order not to categorise him as annoying, with Redhawk247 declaring: “He’s kinda like a lovable idiot (in my opinion). Not very annoying but pretty chill.” and dvlmncry arguing: “I thought he was kinda funny (to be honest and) had the right energy to hype you up.”
Meanwhile, a couple of players simply offered neutral observations about Dax’s appearance, with user Metalblacksheep musing: “He looks like the Sasquatch costume after a full body shave.”
