Ever since replicators appeared all the way back in Apex Legends Season 6, weapons have been rotated in and out of them from the floor loot pool. Season 19: Ignite is no different, but this time, Respawn is putting two of the most-loved guns in the game into the crafting rotation.

Both the R301 assault rifle and the Volt SMG, will be placed into the crafter for the full duration of Season 19. This means that these weapons will no longer spawn on the floor, and will only be obtainable through using a replicator and the necessary amount of crafting materials.

This is, however, a double-edged sword. Some players will love the fact that they can grab a guaranteed R301 or Volt, while others will be peeved that they can't simply happen upon them by dropping hot and looting up. The crafting rotation is always a point of contention, but this seems like a relatively understandable decision.

Both the R301 and the Volt are very user-friendly, boasting some of the easiest spreads to master as well as a devastatingly fast time-to-kill. So this means any new players diving into the battlefield for the first time in Season 19 will be able to craft some of the best weapons with ease.

However, the use of replicators can prove dangerous. If you're mid-game and wondering where the other remaining squads are, using a crafter can be like a homing beacon for attacks, and then the inevitable third parties that come with it. This has been a standard issue with using crafters since their introduction to the game, and sometimes it's worth taking the risk. Especially if it means you can bag yourself an R301 or a Volt.

While these two fan-favourite weapons are going into the crafter, that does mean that both the RE45 pistol and the 30-30 Repeater will return to the loot pool on the ground. With these seasonal changes, we're sure to see some alterations to the current weapon meta once Season 19 goes live, so we'll update our information as soon as we know what those changes will be. But in the meantime, be sure to check out everything we know about new legend, Conduit, as well as everything you need to know about cross-progression.
