Elden Ring: Crystal Tear Locations

Elden Ring is here, and fans are far from disappointed by The Lands Between. As you follow quest lines and get lost, you'll encounter various bosses and enemies, as well as a mass of different items that can be used to upgrade or transform your gear and equipment.

While Golden Seeds give you more Sacred Flasks, and Sacred Tears increase how much your Flasks replenish your HP and FP, Crystal Tears work a little differently. Instead of making sure your FP and HP are in top shape, Crystal Tears can be mixed with other items to change your Flask of Wondrous Physick and its effects on your character.

There's a few different Crystal Tears around The Lands Between, all of which have varying effects. In this guide, we share some Crystal Tear locations in Elden Ring, and what effect they may have on your Flask of Wondrous Physick.

Elden Ring Crystal Tear Locations

Opaline Bubbletear

This Crystal Tear is dropped by the Erdtree Avatar at the Minor Erdtree in Weeping Peninsula. When in use, it will significantly decrease the amount of damage your character receives.

Crimsonburst Crystal Tear

This Crystal Tear is also dropped by the Erdtree Avatar at the Minor Erdtree in Weeping Peninsula. When in use, it will slowly restore HP over a short period of time.

Strength-Knot Crystal Tear

The Strength-Knot Crystal Tear can be found slightly north-west of the Warmaster's Shack; it is inside a small stone receptacle at the end of the cliffs. This Tear does exactly what you can imagine from its name; it increases your strength temporarily.

Faith-Knot Crystal Tear

This Tear can be found north-west of the Demi-Human Forest Ruins, at a small altar/shrine by the cliffs edge. Similarly to the Strength-Knot Crystal Tear, the Faith-Knot Crystal Tear will temporarily increase your faith.

Spiked Cracked Tear

This Tear can be found by the Minor Edtree near the Siofra River Well; it will be on a small altar, alongside the Greenspill Crystal Tear. The Spiked Cracked Tear will, over a short period of time, increase the damage of your charged attacks.

Greenspill Crystal Tear

The Greenspill Crystal Tear can be found alongside the Spiked Cracked Tear, which is on an altar by the Minor Erdtree near to the Siofra River Well. This Tear will temporarily boost your stamina.

Crimson Crystal Tear

The Crimson Crystal Tear is found at the Third Church of Marika. It will be in a large bowl, where the Flask of Wondrous Physick is also located. When used, this will restore up to half of your maximum HP.

Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear

By the Minor Erdtree Catacombs in Caelid, this Tear is dropped by a Minor Erdtree avatar after being defeated, alongside the Greenburst Crystal Tear. The Flame-Shrouding Crystal Tear will temporarily improve your fire-attack power in combat.

Greenburst Crystal Tear

This Tear is dropped after defeating a Minor Erdtree avatar beside the Minor Erdtree Catacombs in Caelid. The Tear will boost your stamina recovery temporarily.

Dexterity-Knot Crystal Tear

Atop a hill that is slightly south of the Boilprawn Shack Site of Grace, this Tear can be found inside a small stone receptacle. The Dexterity-Knot Crystal Tear will temporarily improve your characters' dexterity.
