Strange Warzone Bug Prevents Players From Unlocking Sai

The Numbers event in Season 5 Reloaded of Warzone is well underway and despite the majority of the community expressing their disappointment with the latest limited-time event, many players are still visiting the Mobile Broadcast Stations that have appeared across Verdansk. By visiting each of the nine stations, players can get their hands on a range of cosmetics, including Calling Cards, Weapon Charms, and a brand-new melee weapon known as the Sai.

As soon as the challenges have been completed, players should be able to access the Sai and equip it as part of their loadouts but a bizarre bug is keeping the melee weapon behind closed doors, much to the annoyance of players that want to use it in Verdansk and Rebirth Island.

Reddit user 'Kevin1056' encountered the problem after exploring the mobile stations and despite the game clearly displaying that all nine challenges have been completed, an unlock symbol still appears in the top right corner.

Many players were quick to share their thoughts on how to rectify the problem, with one suggesting that the challenges in Black Ops Cold War must be completed as well as the Warzone challenges. Upon closer inspection, this isn't the case. Players need to complete Warzone's or Cold War's challenges rather than both. Another player chimed in, seemingly confirming that the challenges were bugged. "The challenge is bugged, just like the other stuff they do," they stated.

When Will It Be Fixed?

It's unclear as to whether the issue is impacting several players but it's certainly annoying for those that have managed to encounter the bug. With The Numbers event coming to an end on September 30th, it's likely that the bug will be fixed in an upcoming update.

In the meantime, find out when Iron Trials is disappearing from Warzone and everything you need to know about the brand-new Pacific map expected to arrive in November.
