Season 5 Reloaded of Warzone is nearing its end and players are beginning to turn their attention to the launch of Season 6, the final post-launch content season of the Black Ops Cold War era. The addition of Iron Trials midway through Season 5 has proven to be a hit amongst the community thanks to several changes that give the battle royale a competitive twist.
The limited-time mode has been praised by the community that has been desperate for a more competitive version of the game to be added, so much so that some players have even called for a fully-fledged ranked playlist to be built around Iron Trials. Despite its popularity, the mode is only around for a limited period of time, so when exactly is Iron Trials disappearing from Warzone?

Warzone Iron Trials End Date
In a Tweet published on September 24th, Raven Software revealed that Iron Trials will be departing Warzone on September 30th, but players will still be able to get their fix of Iron Trials in the not too distant future when the mode makes an appearance in custom lobbies.
Even though Raven only teased the release of Iron Trials in custom matches, it's likely that the mode will be appearing very soon considering its immense popularity with the community. It's not just players hoping that Iron Trials will be a more permanent fixture in Warzone's playlist. Tournament organisers are already making plans for competitive Iron Trials matches for the world's best players to battle it out for thousands in prize money.
For now, Iron Trials will be available to play until the end of September but there's every chance of the mode returning before Vanguard integration and the release of an all-new map set in the Pacific.
