According to players encountering the error, it occurs when they're unable to connect to Vanguard's servers and while they're downloading the game or an update. The error prevents anyone from accessing the main menu, giving you an option to try again or quit the game entirely.

Restart PC or Console

As with any error code, the first logical step to take is to reboot your PC or console. Performing a power cycle on a PlayStation or Xbox is known to fix the vivacious error altogether and it's incredibly straightforward.

  • Hold the power button down until the console switches off.
