Vanguard Vivacious Error: How To Fix on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC

Since Call of Duty Vanguard launched, players continue to encounter the vivacious error much to their annoyance. The error, amongst other game-breaking problems, is arguably one of the most frustrating issues to encounter as it prevents you from loading into the action.

How To Fix Vanguard Vivacious Error

According to players encountering the error, it occurs when they're unable to connect to Vanguard's servers and while they're downloading the game or an update. The error prevents anyone from accessing the main menu, giving you an option to try again or quit the game entirely.

Restart PC or Console

As with any error code, the first logical step to take is to reboot your PC or console. Performing a power cycle on a PlayStation or Xbox is known to fix the vivacious error altogether and it's incredibly straightforward.

  • Hold the power button down until the console switches off.
  • Remove the power cable from the back of the console.
  • Wait 20 seconds and re-connect the cable.
  • Turn the console back on.

Check Vanguard Server Status

Test Internet Connection

  • Press the Xbox button to open the Xbox guide.
  • Select 'Profile & System' > 'Settings' > 'General' > 'Network' > 'Network Settings.'
  • Select 'Test Network Connection' and wait.

Scan and Repair Vanguard PC Files

There are several instances of players having to scan and repair Vanguard due to corrupt files and this is a possible cause for the vivacious error. Here's how to scan and repair the game files:

  • Open the launcher.
  • Select your Games Library.
  • Click on Vanguard then click the gear icon next to the play button.
  • Select 'Scan and Repair' followed by 'Begin Scan.'

Once the repair has completed, restart the PC and launch the game to see if it's worked.
