Earlier this year ARK Survival Evolved launched Genesis Part 2 and whilst it seems as though Studio Wildcard will soon turn their attention to ARK 2 featuring Vin Diesel, for now there should be new content still in the pipeline.
After a successful ARK Summer Bash Event, all attention will turn to what is coming next. Typically when we look at the content calendar of past years, that means the next event on the roadmap is Fear Evolved, the spooky event filled with diabolical chibis and spectral creature skins. The new ARK Community Crunch blogpost has revealed all the key info about the next ARK Fear Evolved event coming in 2021.

Our annual Halloween event, Fear Evolved, creeps onto the ARK with a ghoulish screech and we have laid out all of the tricks and/or treats for Survivors to indulge in over the coming weeks!
From October 26th to November 9th : ARK will be teeming with spook-tackular new chibis making their ARK debut, cutting edge fashion, and eerie event creatures all resplendent in moonlit pumpkin patches and Hallow's Eve festivities!
Cloak yourself in event-themed fashion and creepy shoulder companions to embark on a hunt for the elusive DodoRex and DodoWyvern. Fear Evolved is a community favorite and we can't wait for you to see what we've conjured up this year!

ARK Fear Evolved 5 has been confirmed by the development team in the latest Community Crunch blog post.
The Halloween Event will run from Tuesday, October 26th until Tuesday, November 9th and they'll be sharing details about the event details in the next Community Crunch, which should arrive this Friday, on 22 October 2021.

The next Community Crunch Blog post should arrive today and fingers crossed it will give us our first details about the upcoming Fear Evolved Event in ARK.

Although the most recent Community Crunch blog post didn't share any details about Fear Evolved, the Lead Community Manager for the game did suggest that we'll hear something next week.
"We will *likely* have Fear Evolved info next week." tweeted the Lead Community Manager. Obviously, this isn't set in stone, but it is at least some assurance that we'll start hearing some details in the not too distant future.

There's still no word on ARK Fear Evolved 5 but with any luck, we'll hear something about the event in the game's next Community Crunch blogpost.
ARK Community Crunch 287 should be published on the official survivetheark website forums this coming Saturday, so stay tuned for more info on October 9.

It's now officially October and spooky season is nearly here. With October starting this week, hopefully, we'll see some spooky teasers soon for this year's event.
When Does The Fear Evolved 5 Halloween Event Start?
To get an idea of when we can expect to see the next Fear Evolved Halloween event start and end in 2021, it makes sense to take a look at the previous events for ARK Survival Evolved.
Here's a quick reminder of when they started and ended in past years:
- ARK: Fear Evolved 4 - October 22nd, 2020 until November 6th, 2020
- ARK: Fear Evolved 3 - October 22nd, 2019 until November 8th, 2019
- The Witches Curse - October 30th, 2017 until November 1st, 2017
- ARK: Fear Evolved 2 - October 28th, 2016 until November 6th, 2016
- ARK: Fear Evolved 1 - October 28th, 2015 until November 5th, 2015
As you can see, the game has only ever skipped on the event one year, in 2018. But for the most part, the Fear Evolved event always returns.
As for release dates, they have varied slightly but always begin towards the end of October. In the past two years, it's started on October 22nd. These were not the same day. In 2019 it was the fourth Tuesday, and in 2020, it was the fourth Thursday.
Assuming the event follows roughly the same pattern we can likely expect to see this year's Halloween Event start somewhere between Tuesday 19 October 2021 or Thursday 21 October 2021. Potentially ending on November 9, 2021.
