Oculus Quest 2's 128GB Model Is Out Now


Following a short sales pause, Oculus Quest 2's 128GB model is now available to purchase for £299/$299, replacing the previous 64GB model. Featuring a new cover after the headset's foam caused a small set of skin irritation complaints, that recently led to a voluntary recall.

However, unless you're after a larger hard drive, there's no real need to upgrade, this variant is functionally the same as previous Quest 2 models. Adding to that, silicone covers are being dispatched for free if you already own a Quest 2 headset, which you can claim directly through Oculus.

Elsewhere, Facebook's also announced a new Facebook Connect event on October 28th, which includes big-name keynotes, new announcements, and other Oculus-related content.
