Respawn are seemingly hinting that there's more in store for Titanfall. Tweeting that the game is the "very core of their DNA," that came hours after Jason Garza, Respawn's community coordinator mentioned on his YouTube live stream that 'there's nothing' for Titanfall right now.
At the moment, we've seen the company focusing on fighting the DDoS attacks happening across the first two games, which some reports claim is due to disgruntled Titanfall fans. Speaking in detail, Garza stated:
Yeah, it's a game with a lot of mechs. It's an old one, back when Xbox [One] first launched. Don't get your hopes up, man. I've said this before, we just don't have anything in the works. There's nothing there. We've got too many other games in the works right now.
Respawn Sparks Hope For Titanfall 3, Shortly After Saying 'There's Nothing' Happening

With their tweet, that's left the gaming community still stoked that a potential Titanfall 3 could be in the works. Though Respawn is still quiet about the specific matter, nothing is set in stone at this time.
At least one thing seems clearer now - Respawn is not abandoning Titanfall, though in what capacity remains to be seen. Make sure to follow us for more Titanfall news and updates.
