Is The Ascent Coming To Nintendo Switch?

The Ascent is looking like a really good time and an Xbox exclusive that could get people jealous enough to pick up an Xbox Series X, which is the job of a console exclusive.

Many gamers are intrigued by the mix of Diablo-like action and the futuristic setting reminiscent of Cyberpunk 2077, though the isometric point of view and four-player multiplayer has fans thinking it can run on a Nintendo Switch.

Is The Ascent Coming To Nintendo Switch?

Naturally, there are fans wondering if The Ascent will be coming to Switch but judging from recent reports and previews of this game, it won’t come to the console/handheld hybrid anytime soon.

Games that were deemed Xbox exclusive at one point have been coming to the Switch, like Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Cuphead (which is also on PS4), Super Lucky’s Tale, and the upcoming Falconeer.

However, it took time for those games to come to Nintendo Switch, and judging from the titles that have made their way to the system, it looks like Nintendo wants games that fit their brand’s look, which is why we haven’t seen Halo on the system.

Then again, Doom, Doom Eternal, and Dark Souls are on Nintendo Switch so maybe anything goes.

Either way, The Ascent doesn’t appear to be arriving on Nintendo Switch, at least not yet.

Four-player isometric titles have been something of a hit on the Switch, as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 and Diablo 3 have shown, so if the money is good, we’re sure that Microsoft will consider bringing The Ascent to Switch, just not right now.

The Ascent is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on July 29.
