All Lorbs Locations in Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart
There’s a total of twelve Lorbs that can be found in Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, and all of them are in different locations in Savali’s Urfdah Mesa. Some of them require puzzles to solve, others require combat sequences, and more are just hidden well. We’ll go through them all below.
How to Find All Lorbs
The easiest way to find all the Lorbs is to head to the small settlement in the very center of the Mesa, where you’ll meet a monk who actually deals in them. Though you can find them all before you encounter him, simply talking to the monk will put every single Lorb on your map, making them much easier to find. From that point on, returning to him with certain amounts of Lorbs will grant you rewards.
The Lorbs themselves are all in small shrines that look like scary versions of Lombaxes like Ratchet and Rivet, their "ears" unfolding when they present the Lorb to the player.
The first one you’re likely to find is under an orange energy field to the left of you when you first clear the hoverboots jump over the canyon. The field is linked by a cable to three pressure switches - use the boots to press all three as fast as possible to shut down the field and get to the shrine.
The second Lorb is found in a cave on the North border of the map. It’s pretty obvious from outside, but guarded by a bunch of Sand Sharks. Kill them all to get the Lorb.
This one is literally right next to the Monk scholar who buys Lorbs from you. Get it to give straight to him and earn the first reward.
Just to the West of the Monk is a high stone platform with the Lorb Shrine on top of it. Just North of that is a ramp you can use to jump up with the hoverboots.
At the far West edge of the map, guarded by numerous Nefarious robots. Beat them all to get the Lorb.
There’s a floating platform with a Lorb Shrine on it that tries to fly around and escape the player when you get close. Use the hoverboots to gain on it, then grapple up to the platform itself. It sometimes pauses in the top-left corner of the map, but will always try to flee when approached.
To the Southeast of the Monk’s location is another high platform with a Lorb on it. Use the bounce pad and rift tether on its South side to get up to the Shrine. At this point, you can bring back 7 Lorbs for a new reward from the Monk.
This one is to the East, close to the Primeval Forest Temple. It’s out in the open, but guarded by various kinds of wildlife that’ll have to be beaten to take it.
The ninth Lorb is South of the Monk scholar, and requires a very basic puzzle. There’s four pillars with blue and red lights on them - simply shoot all the red lights until they turn blue. Once there’s four blue lights, the Lorb Shrine will rise out of the ground.
This one is a wallrunning challenge that hugs the Southern cliff along the map, with three pressure buttons built into the wall itself that you have to cross all in one go. If you do, the Lorb Shrine at the end of the course becomes accessible.
This one on the Southeast edge of the map is guarded by several large bugs, and hidden in a cave by a wall of crates. Kill the bugs and smash through the crates to get the penultimate orb.
The very last Lorb is on a path on your right when you first cross the bridge to the Mountain Shrine at the South. Turn right at Gary to see several platforms to jump across, then rift tether up to a rail that’ll let you grind to the last Shrine, and the last reward!
For getting all the Lorbs, players can get the full set of Wasteland Gear armour from the Monk Scholar, the full details of which we’ve outlined in our complete armour guide here. You can also listen to the Lorbs in the “Collectibles” section of the menu screen, which give you a history of the Lombax people and fill in some of the lore of Ratchet and Clank.
