Pokemon Home Maintenance Confirmed

Pokemon fans won't be able to use the app between 22 October at 23:00 UTC and 23 October at 04.00 UTC.

Once the maintenance is over, fans will need to update the Switch app to version 1.2.0.

Your mobile app will also need updating before it can be used, as it hits version 1.3.0.

That timeframe is almost certainly when the Crown Tundra will drop, meaning you'll be able to explore a whole new region if you have the expansion pass.

What is Pokemon Home?

Pokemon lets players import their captured Pokemon from Pokemon Bank on Nintendo 3DS, Pokemon Let's Go! on Nintendo Switch, and Pokemon Sword and Shield.

The app is available for both iOS and Android as well as the Nintendo Switch, and Pokemon can be sent to your save in Sword and Shield.

Pokemon Go functionality is coming soon, too, meaning you'll eventually be able to import Pokemon from your travels into Sword and Shield.

Then there's a curious glitch in Pokemon Sapphire that was discovered by a Siamese fighting fish.
